Working together
I’m adept at designing and evaluating products with agile teams and work closely with developers (FE & BE), visual designers, content producers, product owners, stakeholders, and quality assurance teams.
Whether with Slack, Hangouts, Zoom or good old face-to-face, I work to ensure communication is clear and deliberate, regardless of whether team members are co-located or remote.
I tend to use Sketch and Invision, although Figma has caught my eye recently. I’ve also been known to use Axure, Balsamiq and Keynote.
I’m open to short term projects from days to weeks or more involved engagements over multiple months.
To ease your mind, I’m covered by professional liability insurance.
If you have a project I can help with, please get in touch.

A little about me
Leaning into rural life
Based in bucolic Roberts Creek, on the Sunshine Coast in BC, Canada, I’m situated within rapid-striking distance of Vancouver, Seattle, and Victoria.Family Guy
My wife, daughter and I recently “settled down” away from the hub-bub of the big city. Or, was it that we were forced out of the city due to an overheated real estate bubble. Hard to say. Recent adherent of disc golf
While ball golf is great and all, there’s really nothing like fishing a frisbee out of a heavily-wooded ravine to know you’re alive.

Music: It makes the world go round (along with gravity that is).* * I was going to post some links here, but thought better of it: one person’s Neil Young is another’s Toby Keith, am I right?
